For Katie and Wes’ engagement photos, we started at Camp Millstone in Ellerbe, NC and ended up in downtown Southern Pines.  I was lucky enough to have my wife Michele with me in Ellerbe.  She helped me with the images from the canoe.

Their pet ferrets were hilarious!  They put liquid on their hands and noses to interact with them for the photos.

After a false start (my fault) Mike, Sharon, and I tooled around downtown Rockingham.  Afterwords we went to Hinson Lake.  I should go out there more often.  It’s quite nice.

Erin, Trey and I were having a great time shooting their engagement session in downtown Rockingham.  We shot between the Daily Journal and the Library.  Afterwords, we left to go to the remains of Safie Mill in East Rockingham.  It was there I had an accident while shooting them. I was lucky enough to be taken care of by Erin and Trey.  They got me home and called my fiance.  A sincere thanks to you both.  -duane

Good Friday was such a nice day, Michele and I puttered around town taking photos.  We also wanted to get a new shot of the ring online.

My sitting with Alison and Brian was much more comfortable today than the ones this past week.  The temperature was around 50 degrees and the wind wasn’t crazy.  Both were fun to work with since they let me try a few shots I hadn’t done before.  I hope you both had a safe trip back to Cary.  Thanks again!

Katie and Derek were a lot of fun to hang around with. We walked all over Manteo taking photographs. We hit the piers on looking the Elizabeth II, the old courthouse and Manteo Booksellers to name a few. This is much more fun when the couple are into it. I can’t wait until their wedding. Unfortunately it isn’t until 2010.
