It’s Cold!

Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010

So me and the Stutts Sisters took some last minute portraits for Christmas gifts for their family.  We started at Hinson lake and decided it was WAY too cold!

Above: Oh yeah this was too cold!

Above:  We shot at the Leak Wall House.  It was still cold, but the wind was all crazy on us.

Above: These belts were gifts to the sisters from their father.  I think.  🙂

Above: Nailed it!

Ellerbe Hometown Christmas

Thursday, December 2nd, 2010

The town of Ellerbe held their “Hometown Christmas Event” tonight.  Businesses stayed open past normal business hours to serve snacks and goods to the locals.  The town lit their tree, sponsored hayrides and featured band performances.

Above:  The girl on the right is my Facebook buddy Meredith.  It was nice to finally meet her in person tonight.

Above:  This little stove kept a lot of us warm!

Above:  Many of the downtown businesses were decked out for Christmas.

Above:  These candles lit up the Ellerbe intersection.  It was quite beautiful.

Southern Pines Senior Portraits – Taylor

Tuesday, October 5th, 2010

A big thanks to Taylor and her mom for letting me shoot her senior portraits in Southern Pines.  Taylor was completely comfortable in front of the camera making her images that much easier to capture.  Also, thanks to Bootsie for your help!

Manteo Christmas Parade

Saturday, December 6th, 2008

The town of Manteo kicked off their annual Christmas parade today downtown. The parade was emceed by Della Basnight and multiple Tony award winner William Ivey Long. Manteo Elementary School sponsored photographs with Santa as well as a bake sale. Local schools, businesses, and Elizabeth R company took to the streets for the morning festivities.

Isaac of Nags Head chases bubbles while waiting for the parade to start.

Five year old Celeste asked Santa for diapers for her baby doll for Christmas.

Kevin of Manteo along with friends and family help photographer Allen Hooper of Ocean Edge Productions get kids to smile for the camera.

Seven year old Summer could not quite remember at first what to tell Santa she wanted for Christmas. She soon decided on a Little Miss Pet Shop. Santa gave her bubbles to play with afterward.

Melissa and her husband Jamie met me and my girlfriend Michele in the downtown area and we had some fun! We were able to shoot these images in downtown Rockingham before the leaves lost their color.
