It’s hard to believe Amy and Matt had their wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn beach access in April of this year. It just doesn’t feel that long ago we were in Kitty Hawk! There were plenty overcast skies but the rain held off until the reception began.

There was a glitch with the original post of this so I have posted this again.
I had such a good time with Kristin and Josh. We shot everywhere! We were in downtown Manteo, the beach, the Pioneer Theatre and their venue. Press the play button in the bottom left corner to start the slide show.
Myrna and Paul decided to hold their wedding and ceremony at The Pointe Golf Club in Powell’s Point, NC. I had never shot there before. I was very surprised at the hospitality of the facility. There were rooms for the bridal party, plenty of reception space, and beautiful grounds for the ceremony and pictures. I was able to spend some time with owner Keith Hall and his manager Angela. They are both fast at work creating an all-inclusive wedding facility with the Pointe. They have an extremely friendly staff and a no nonsense attitude towards the big day.

I’m so thankful my web designer fixed my blog. I can finally get more content on here. Kathy and Jeff held a super fantastic wedding outside of a GORGEOUS home in Kill Devil Hills in October of last year. I’ve had quite my share of “event home” weddings but this one took the cake. We were close enough to the sound for a beautiful sunset, the grounds were large enough for a tent and there was a nice pool area designated for cocktail hour. Beautiful.

Erika will be posing for me for a commercial shoot later on. We had some time to hang out and get to know each other. We are both mutual friends with Juan. Thanks guys!
Wow. This wedding took place at 10am on the beach in Kill Devil Hills. At first we thought we were going to have to shoot pics in downtown Manteo due to the bright sunlight. We were concerned because Dare Days was in process in Manteo. Downtown was FULL of people. We ended up having beautiful overcast skies on the beach! We shot most of the images in Kill Devil Hills. After the ceremony Audrey, Matthew and I walked around Dare Days as it was in process. It was so much fun! Above: The girls cross street to Mile Post 9.1 in Kill Devil Hills. I love shooting the girls crossing the street. Above: Love love love large bridal parties! Above: I really thought they were going to throw him in. There was no doubt in my mind. It was going to happen. I needed him for another pic. I got nervous! Above: The flurry of activity of Dare Days in downtown Manteo. Above: This was one of the shots while walking through Dare Days. I remember thinking “I would love to get them in the circle of the train”. Seconds afterward, the driver of the train offered to let us in. How awesome!
Congratulations Audrey and Matthew!
