Kara and Dustin were super cool to work with. I really loved shooting them on the beach. Kara and her bridesmaids are soccer players so we incorporated a soccer ball in her images. Dustin is a former baseball player so we brought a bat also.

Above: Is it me or does Dustin remind you of Christian Bale?

Amber and Bryan held their ceremony off of Schooner’s Ridge in Duck, NC recently. After the ceremony, we ventured off to their cottage reception up the street.

Above:Â How cool is it that Amber rode up to her ceremony on her dad’s bike?
Above: Normally I am not crazy about runners on the beach. Amber was smart enough to get one made for the beach. Most of the time the cloth ones fly around due to the wind or get tangled up when walked on. Amber’s was perfect!

Above: This house was huge! I’m glad I was able to get to the top to get an overall of the place.
Above: The idea was to get a few more formal pictures of the wedding party. However they could not stop dancing!
Congratulations Amber and Bryan!
Erin, Trey and I were having a great time shooting their engagement session in downtown Rockingham. We shot between the Daily Journal and the Library. Afterwords, we left to go to the remains of Safie Mill in East Rockingham. It was there I had an accident while shooting them. I was lucky enough to be taken care of by Erin and Trey. They got me home and called my fiance. A sincere thanks to you both. -duane

How cool is it that Tiffany had two ceremonies and two dresses on the same day? We were at the Oasis Suites on Saturday morning. The dress to the left was for her Catholic ceremony at the Holy Trinity by the Sea Church in Nags Head. The dress to the right was for her beach ceremony in Kill Devil Hills a few hours later.

Above: Tiffany has help from her girls getting ready in the first dress. The beach ceremony dress was to be a surprise to everyone.

Above: Tiffany along with her sister and mother prepare the second dress. There are only a few people aware of it.

Above: Instead of the usual glass taps to get the couple to kiss at the reception, Tiffany and Phil requested their guests stand and sing a verse from a song with the word “love” in it. I didn’t think it would happen. Almost every table made them kiss!
Congratulations Tiffany and Phil!
May sure has been full of rain! Luckily the weather cleared up long enough for Faye and Tushar to have their beach wedding. Congratulations to you both!

Angie and Trey held their ceremony in Kill Devil Hills and their reception in Manteo. Luckily we had time to shoot at the beach and in downtown Manteo. Congratulations Angie and Trey!

Originally we were going to do just a few images on the beach then go to downtown Manteo for more pics. Luckily this was an overcast day.

Congratulations Jill and Robert!
Thunderstorms threatened to move this wedding from Marshes Light in downtown Manteo to indoors. Luckily everything cleared just in time for the ceremony.

Thanks for a great time. Congratulations!
Alesha and Tim had the kind of wedding where when it was over, you wanted to continue on with them. They were a very fun and nice bunch.

Above: I love this image. It may be my favorite one.

Above: Oh wait, this is my fav!

Above: I’m not sure how the garter toss started with this image…to the one below!
Congratulations Alesha and Tim! And a big thanks to Michael, Adrian, and Melissa for helping me out at the end of the night.
