I wanted to post these the night Jennifer and I took them.  I loved them so much!  It was during this session I started doing slightly different things with posing.  Thanks Jennifer for indulging me!

This is one of my favorite images of Jennifer. I appreciate how her dress lays as well as the background of the Leak Wall garden.

Today I was looking to go in and out of Family Dollar quickly as I had an appointment coming up.  A gentleman outside the store caught my eye and ears while there.  His name is Mr. Heersma.  He was playing a Yamaha keyboard for tips.  I did not have long to speak with him.  Luckily I had my camera and his permission to photograph him.  He said he plays gospel and many popular tunes on his keyboard.  He was accompanied by his dog, Number Seven.  Interesting name, huh?

Mr. Heersma is from New Jersey.  Unfortunately I was not able to spend more time with him.

I was with Mr. Heersma for less than 10 minutes. During that time he had more than a handful of donators.

This is Mr. Heersma's dog. He named the doggie Number Seven. I wasn't there long enough to find out the origin of the name.

This is Mr. Heersma's dinner along with a playlist of songs he had written on a cigarette package.

His notebook of music. At first I did not recognize the image of The Carpenter's on it.

These hands must have been through a lot. He told me he has been playing for tip money in the Richmond County area for more than a year.

We all met at the Leak Wall House in downtown Rockingham.  This is a nice time of year now that the flowers are in bloom!

Miss M’s church dedication was held recently at Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Richmond County.  Many family members were on hand for the event.  It was quite a special event for those involved.

The remaining family members in attendance stand for her dedication.

Her dedication is finished. The new family prepares to hear the sermon.

Kimberly and Justin were wed recently.  It is pretty easy to see we all had a swell time!

Which ones? Right or left?

I enjoy shooting some portraits with the party members sitting down. Plus it's easy on their shoes!

The men's floral is one of the easiest things for a bridal party to forget until the last minute. Whoever placed them on top of the groom gifts had a terrific idea.

If the ring bearer is no taller than four feet, then photographing the fellas sitting down evens them out!

This is a great piece of foreshadowing. The name of the church room where Justin is standing is called new life. Justin is getting a new life moments from now.

Unfortunately some family could not make it. Rest in peace.

Wow.  I haven’t blogged in so long!  This was a swell session with the “R” family.  These were taken right at the end of fall of last year.  We still had lots of leaves to play with.
