Thank you Allison for tolerating the cold and wind for these images! I’m really enjoying Cedarock Park in Burlington for shooting portraits. The area has very nice lighting.

The “B” Family – Chapel Hill, NC
Sunday, December 18th, 2016This day in Chapel Hill was VERY COLD. These girls were the very definition of the word “trooper”. They braved the wind and temperature for us to get these and more shots. I cannot wait to work with them in fairer temperatures.

The “M” Family Portraits
Saturday, December 10th, 2016I’ve been lucky enough to be with the “M” family during lots of milestones. Christmas, birthdays and christenings are just a few of the events I was able to capture for them.
- Tucker (their dog) is such a chill pet.
- I’ll never get tired of hangin’ with these two fellas.

This is Dotger. My wife and I rescued him from a bridge in the Outer Banks in 2008. When we moved to Alamance County in 2014, I stupidly let him out of the house too early. He was not used to the area yet.
We did not see him for nearly two years. Around 20 months later, we noticed a neighbor had found a cat that looked remarkably like Dotger. He posted the find on our neighborhood Facebook page. Michele and I compared markings to older photographs we had of Dotger. We couldn’t believe it was him.
We are eternally grateful to our neighbors for finding our long, lost kitty.
Welcome home Dotger.
- Playing with mom.
- Happy he is home.
